88 Strings - Vancouver debut prior to regional tour

Plucked string quartet 88 Strings to present a program of classical music from the cultures of Spain, China, Persia, France, and Canada, featuring world premieres of two compositions especially commissioned by the ensemble from Canadian composers Jin Zhang (Vancouver) and Scott Godin (Lethbridge). The quartet features harp, guitar, guzheng (China), and Tar (Iran), a sound described as “plucked string heaven.”
